Artikel di bawah ini telah dimuat-naik lebih 3 tahun yang lalu – 1 Februari 2010. Ketika itu blog ini belum berumur setahun jagung dan baru mula merangkak. Diyakini majoriti OTAI2 TLDM yang pada hari ini sedang melayari blog ini masih belum tahu tentang kewujudan UPBB yang pernah tersenarai sebagai media alternatif. Justeru bila sekali sekala terbaca tulisan berbau politik, mereka mula mempersoal “Kenapa UPBB harus memuat-naik artikel sedemikian?
Untuk kelompok pelayar seperti ini, kelompok yang menyokong Dr Mahathir membuta tuli, aku muat-naik sekali lagi artikel yang sama yang pernah diambil oleh beberapa blog lain tanpa memberi rujukan kepada blog dan penulis asal – UPBB.
Dan kepada kelompok yang telah rabun mata dan cacat pendengaran, aku pasti mereka tak akan dapat melihat kebenaran walau sebanyak mana sekali pun fakta yang diberi. Seperti juga Dr Mahathir, mereka ini percaya bahawa PM Malaysia yang terkenal dengan slogan Bersih Cekap Amanah, Wawasan 2020, Buy British Last, Pandang Ke timur, Pensyarikatan Malaysia….can do no wrong.

Pelajaran Sejarah untuk Dr Mahathir
Kesian Dr Mahathir. Semakin hampir ke destinasi akhir, semakin kurang daya fikir. Begitulah ragam manusia apabila sudah lanjut usia.
Quote “Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed delivered a history lesson on Malay unity today and blamed PAS and PKR for dividing the community because of what he claimed was their greed for power.”
Maaf Tun, saya tidak dapat menerima pelajaran sejarah songsang, yang mengaitkan PAS dan PKR sebagai punca perpecahan Melayu. Disebabkan saya bukan balaci UMNO, tidak juga ahli PAS atau PKR, maka itu saya masih boleh membezakan antara ajaran sesat, fantasi dan kenyataan.
Mungkin kerana terlalu taksub dengan pujian juak-juak keliling, Dr Mahathir terlupa bahawa setiap telunjuk yang menuding, tiga jari lagi terarah ke diri sendiri. Itulah yang sebenarnya beliau lakukan, menepuk air di dulang, merecik ke muka sendiri.
Sejak PAS wujud pada tahun 1951 sehingga Dr Mahathir dinobatkan sebagai Perdana Menteri, berapa kali orang Melayu berpecah dan berapa ramai yang menganggotai parti bukan UMNO?
Mungkin kerana faktor usia, Dr Mahathir terlupa benih perpecahan yang beliau semai hidup subur dan masih lagi dituai hingga hari ini. Semasa berada di persada kekuasaan berapa kali pernah beliau menangani masalah mengikut tradisi orang Melayu, yang membolehkan kiambang bertaut setelah biduk berlalu? Sebaliknya, pecah dan perintah peningglan penjajah yang diamalkan. Setelah orang Melayu berpecah, maka mudahlah proses mengekalkan kuasa.
“Melayu mudah lupa”, ungkapan keramat Dr Mahathir. Oleh kerana beliau sudah tergolong sebagai Melayu, maka wabak pelupa orang Melayu pun sudah meresap ke dalam dirinya. Untuk memulihkan ingatan, saya catitkan rentetan peristiwa penting yang membawa kepada perpecahan.
Keretakan UMNO dan orang Melayu bermula pada tahun 1986 apabila timbalan beliau, Dato Musa Hitam meletakkan jawatan kerana tidak sehaluan. Amanat Musa dalam ucapan terakhir sebagai Timbala Presiden UMNO “Jaga UMNO baik-baik” dipandang ringan oleh orang Melayu sendiri. Ramai pengikut fanatik berpendapat orang Melayu akan terus bersatu, mengangguk patuh macam abdi walau apa pun yang dilakukan oleh pemimpin.
“Retak menjadi belah” apabila UMNO diharamkan pada tahun 1988. Susulan dari itu, maka lahirlah parti Semangat 46. Berduyun-duyun orang Melayu keluar parti kerana tidak mahu terus berada di bawah cengkaman kuku besi. Setelah menyedari Semangat 46 bukannya “angsa yang bertelur emas”, ramai politikus yang memiliki DNA katak melompat kembali ke pangkuan UMNO, termasuklah DS Rais Yatim. Namun, kembalinya mereka masih belum dapat menyatukan orang Melayu.
Retak yang belah terus berkecai seribu seperti ”kaca terhempas ke batu” apabila Dr Mahathir melucutkan jawatan timbalannya pada tahun 1998. Kebencian orang Melayu memuncak setelah beliau sendiri mengaibkan bekas timbalannya menerusi media arus perdana yang di kuasai kerajaan. Ramai yang tidak pernah mendaftar sebagai pengundi, termasuk saya, bergegas ke pusat pendaftaran kerana sudah hilang kepercayaan tentang kredibiliti Presiden UMNO dan konco-konconya.
Dalam pilihan raya 1999, untuk pertama kalinya, UMNO kehilangan 32 kerusi dari 104 yang dipertandingkan. Terlepasnya Kelantan dan Terengganu bukan kerana keampuhan PAS dan Semangat 46 tapi kerana UMNO sendiri jadi lemah. Siapa yang menyuntik kuman polio ke dalam UMNO kalau bukan pemimpinnya sendiri? Seorang doktor yang pakar dalam bidang bedah, potong dan buang.
Keputusan pengadilan yang tidak menggambarkan keadilan merentap sisa-sisa kepercayaan orang Melayu yang masih siuman. Mereka menunggu wadah perjuangan baru. Apabila PKR ditubuhkan, orang-orang UMNO yang mengutamakan prinsip dari kepentingan peribadi tidak teragak-agak keluar parti untuk meneruskan perjuangan.
Quote “PAS and PKR greed for power”. Kenapa PAS dan PKR ataupun Semangat 46 sahaja yang dituduh tamak kuasa? Apakah yang berkuasa tidak tamak kuasa kalau enggan memberi laluan kepada orang lain?
“Perjuangan belum selesai”. Itulah alasan Dr Mahathir. Kalau belum selesai, kenapa akhirnya melepaskan juga jawatan Perdana Menteri? Kenapa tidak terus duduk di singgahsana hingga denyutan nadi terhenti?
PAS dan PKR punca perpecahan? Tidakkah terfikir tindakan keluar dari UMNO semasa Pak Lah menjadi perdana menteri boleh meranapkan perpaduan orang Melayu yang sudah nazak? Atau memang itu maksud yang tersirat?
Benih yang disemai Dr Mahathir terus dituai. Kalau dulunya rakyat Terengganu dihukum kerana memilih PAS untuk menerajui kerajaan negeri, kali ini rakyat Kelantan pula yang menjadi mangsa.
Berbeza dengan Terengganu, Kelantan masih ada pejuang tulen yang sanggup bangun memperjuangkan hak rakyat walaupun menyedari kemungkinan beliau tersingkir dari parti kerana kononnya melanggar etika. Sekiranya UMNO mengikut jejak Dr Mahathir, memilih jalan pintas dengan mencantas, menyingkir Ku Li, perpecahan orang Melayu pasti berlaku lagi.
Kalau tidak cermat “menarik rambut dalam tepung”, bukan saja rambut yang putus, tapi tepung juga akan berserakan. Perpecahan yang bakal menanti lebih dari apa yang telah dialami.
Cuba teliti maksud tersirat disebalik kenyataan Tengku Razaleigh:

Quote “Let us re-examine the terms of the Federation Agreement signed in 1948.”
Dari mana puncanya segala permasalahan ini? Interpretasi ‘royalty’ boleh ditukar mengikut selera kerajaan pusat. Tidakkah ia bermula pada tahun 1999 ketika Dr Mahathir menerajui UMNO dan kerajaan?
Virus yang menyerang saraf perpaduan orang Melayu bertambah kronik setelah Dr Mahathir dan pengikut tegar dibalut daki penswastaan. Orang Melayu yang selama ini terkenal dengan muafakat, “hati gajah sama dilapah, hati kuman sama dicecah”, bertukar menjadi “enau melepaskan pucuk masing-masing”. Akhirnya muncul dua kasta Melayu. ‘Brahmin’ dari kelompok elit politik UMNO yang memegang ideologi ‘matalamat menghalalkan cara’ di satu pihak manakala di pihak yang lain terdiri dari golongan ‘untouchables’, merangkumi masyarakat kampung, Felda dan nelayan.
Rumpun Melayu akan terus layu kalau punca kelahiran ‘Brahmin’ dan ‘untouchables’ dibiarkan rendang.

Need 5 years to plan, another 5 years to execute and the final 5 to see the results. If he was true to his words, he should have quit in 1996, i.e. 15 years after forcing his way to office. This old man ‘syiok sendiri’ thinking he is the best premier Malaysia ever had. I nearly vomit blood mentioning this.
The reason he did not quit because the business empire of his children was crumbling. How good an actor he was could be proven when unashamedly he let cocodile tears flow freely from his his eyes during UMNO general assembly. The hardcore UMNO were taken for a ride. Alangkah lembik dan rapuh nya semangat sebahagian dari orang2 Melayu yang membenci Dr M. Di Blog ini di sebab kan kaki jilat pembangkan dan benci Pemerintah banyak maka di rasai sokongan pembenci melebihi di Malaysia.

Planet of the Monyets did some research on the subject and made some startling discoveries. There are 8 possible reasons why the Sultan Sulu’s gang of armed men came to Sabah :
1.They heard about Najib’s Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) and thought they could collect RM 500 each. It is still a good investment. The cost of diesel per head to travel by boat from Mindanao is only RM 40. That’s a good profit of RM 460 for 2 days work.
2.They heard about Nik Aziz’s claim about “siapa undi PAS, pergi ke syurga”. They came to vote for PAS and go to heaven. The path to heaven from Mindanao is kind of difficult. Someone told them about the short cut to heaven from Kota Bahru.
3.They came to see Psy perform the Oppa Gangnam Style in Penang. But their boatman was NOT READY and landed in Lahad Datu instead.
4.They heard that there are more political parties than voters in Sabah. They came to get their membership forms.
5.They heard that Anwar was in Sabah and “harga barang semua dah turun”. They came to buy their groceries and lube.
6.They were not armed men. They were musicians on their way to perform at all the pubs in KK (note : 99% of the bands in KK are Filipino). Their boats took a wrong turn near Jolo and landed in Lahad Datu instead of in KK. Their guitars were mistaken for guns.
7.They were post-graduate mathematics students on their way to Penang to learn how to count from DAP’s Elections Committee. Their boat took a wrong turn near Palawan and ended up in Lahad Datu instead of in Batu Feringgi.
8. They are actually our own soldiers, unknowingly caught by our own Navy and now guarded by our own Immigration. Since most of us don’t talk among ourselves very much, they are waiting for the Philippines Navy to come over to explain the situation.
These are the only possible reasons for the armed incursion into Sabah.

Perjanjian rangka kerja itu telah ditandatangani di Istana Malacanang pada 15 Oktober 2012 dalam kehadiran Presiden Beningno Aquino III dari Filipina; Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, Pengerusi Barisan Pembebasan Islam Moro; Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Perdana Menteri Malaysia; dan Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu , Setiausaha Agung Pertubuhan Negara-Negara Islam. Sebaliknya, pemimpin yang tidak hadir di dalam upacara bersejarah berkenaan adalah pemimpin Barisan Pembebasan Kebangsaan Moro (MILF), Nur Misuari.
Nur Misuari telah menganggap bahawa perjanjian itu tidak relevan dan beliau mendakwa ianya telah diciplak oleh Presiden Aquino dan DS Najib Razak. MILF adalah kumpulan pemisahan yang merupakan sebahagian tulang belakang MNLF pada tahun 1970-an. Percanggahan pendapat dalam cara Nur Misuari mengendalikan isu-isu telah membawa kepada kumpulan berkenaan terpisah jauh. Turut tidak hadir ialah Sultan Sulu. Pengasingan dan pemencilan Sultan Sulu berkenaan mungkin merupakan punca kepada krisis di Lahad Datu.
Sultan Sulu sendiri telah mengaku menghantar kira-kira 400 lelaki menyeberang laut ke Sabah, kerana beliau melihat perjanjian yang dimeterai tidak berperanan di dalam peningkatkan kehidupan Bangsamoro. Tambahan lagi, beliau sendiri turut tidak mempunyai sebarang peranan. Manakala Nur Misuari pula diketahui umum sebagai penyokong kuat Sultan Sulu.
Mengapa Sultan terasing dalam proses damai bangsa Moro? Ianya mudah. Terdapat sepuluh orang yang mendakwa menduduki takhta. Kerajaan Filipina tidak boleh berurusan dengan sepuluh Sultan yang berbeza dengan sepuluh idea yang berbeza asas mengenai bagaimana untuk membawa keamanan dan pembangunan kepada Bangsamoro. Nur Misuari sendiri tidak menghadiri majlis menandatangani perjanjian berkenaan kerana dia takut sekiranya terdapat waran berterusan dikeluarkan untuk menangkap beliau kerana melancarkan perang terhadap kerajaan Filipina.
Nur Misuari dilihat mengambil kesempatan ke atas isu ini. Nur Misuari dengan segera mengancam Kerajaan Malaysia dengan berkata “Jika setitik darah tumpah maka kita akan terpaksa untuk datang untuk membantu mereka.” Nur Misuari juga berkata yang berikut, “Ini harus dikendalikan oleh ketua yang berfikiran terbuka … bahawa ia juga akan menjadi baik untuk menunggu pilihan raya umum untuk melihat siapa yang akan menjadi Perdana Menteri (Malaysia) yang baru.”
Apakah yang tersirat disebalik kata-kata Nur Misuari itu? Tiada lain dan tidak bukan adalah disebabkan oleh kawan lama beliau, Anwar Ibrahim. Reuters melaporkan dan telah disahkan oleh sumber tentera Filipina bahawa Anwar Ibrahim telah ke luar negara untuk bertemu dengan Nur Misuari bagi membincangkan tuntutan tanah di Sabah, beberapa bulan sebelum kejadian di Lahad Datu berlaku. Anwar telah menafikan sekeras-kerasnya ini, tetapi gambar di atas menunjukkan sebaliknya.
Kerajaan Filipina telah menghantar enam kapal tentera laut untuk menghentikan orang dari rantau Moro dari memasuki perairan Malaysia. Walaupun kerajaan Malaysia mempunyai kelebihan dari segi kawalan dan kemudahan senjata api untuk menamatkan krisis ini, mungkin jalan damai adalah yang terbaik bagi semua pihak iaitu Bangsamoro, kerajaan Filipina serta Malaysia, untuk tidak membenarkan apa-apa untuk menjejaskan perjanjian yang ditandatangani yang masih dalam peringkat awal.
Sementara Kerajaan berusaha dengan diplomatik untuk menyelesaikan isu ini, kedua-dua kerajaan perlu mendapatkan sebab musabab sehingga ke akar umbi peranan yang dimainkan oleh Anwar Ibrahim dalam memudahkan atau menyebabkan kejadian ini berlaku. Ianya tidak akan berlaku kalau tidak ada peranan dari orang dalam. Isu Sabah terlalu dekat dengan Anwar Ibrahim kerana beliau mengimpikan sokongan Rakyat Sabah bagi menyokongnya di dalam PRU13. Namun kita masih tidak tahu apa agenda besar Anwar Ibrahim melakukan ini semua. Soalan ini masih menjadi tanda tanya.

COMMENT ‘The Sulu Sultanate invasion of Lahad Datu.’ This is the term I consider most appropriate to define the standoff between some 100 heavily armed intruders from the now defunct Sultanate of Sulu and the Malaysian security forces in Kampung Tanduo in Lahad Datu.
The intruders have made clear that they are there to stay for as long as necessary and more of their kind will be joining them to claim a piece of Sabah that they perceive to belong to their ancestors.
They have also made it clear they are not going to budge, even when threatened with deportation.
If the first batch of 100 or more can infiltrate into our territories without being detected by our security forces, then their back-up forces can row their boats across easily, without any resistance as well.
There was, without any doubt, a security lapse in Sabah waters.
There wouldn’t have been an intrusion of such magnitude otherwise.
If we are expecting the Philippines Armed Forces to assist us in preventing them from coming here, we might as well forget it.
If we played them out at the last minute in handing over Manuel Amalilio (left), the most wanted conman who has allegedly cheated some 15,000 Filipinos of almost RM1 billion, then we cannot expect sincere cooperation from them.
While it is not wrong for some BN MPs to question Senator Nick Xenophon’s role in visiting Malaysia, it is also not wrong for Malaysians to demand that both the defence minister and the home affairs minister explain the security lapse in Sabah waters that resulted in the Kampung Tandou standoff.
We have lost Pulau Batu Putih (Pedra Branca) to Singapore due to the carelessness and lapse of alertness by some civil servants.
We cannot afford to lose any more of our lands, surrender our sovereignty to criminals or show our weaknesses.
Not so different from Sauk incident
There’s not much difference between the standoff in Kampung Tandou, Lahad Datu, and the one that took place in Bukit Jenalik, Sauk, Perak, in July 2000.
The only difference is in the numbers. There were less than 30 in the Sauk incident while there are now at least 100 in Kampung Tandou and more are expected to join them.
If the Sauk case was classified as “waging or attempting to wage war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, a Ruler or Yang Dipertua Negeri”, which is an offence against the state, then the citizens can demand the same law be applied to the Sulu invaders.
If our own citizens involved in the Sauk incident can be forcibly disarmed and even killed by the security forces and later charged in the court of law and a few eventually hanged, then the rakyat has the right to voice their outrage should the prime minister, who was the defence minister during the Sauk incident, treat the Sulu invaders with kid gloves.
Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail, who hails from Lahad Datu, Sabah, and who had about two weeks ago promised to take action on the illegal immigrants in Sabah since that is his state, would be failing in his duty should he not advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the prime minister that there are provisions in the Penal Code to deal with those armed criminals from Sulu holed up in Kampung Tandou.
After all Gani, as one of the lead prosecutors in the Sauk incident, will surely remember the ingredients needed to prove this case.
However, should there be any intention or attempt to exploit and use the Lahad Datu incident to spin Najib’s profile politically before the impending general election, then they are bound to fail miserably.
Should the actions taken against those armed intruders in Kampung Tanduo be less severe than those imposed against our own citizens in the Sauk incident, then the actions shall be deemed to be a disgraceful, treacherous and cowardly act by the prime minister.

KUALA LUMPUR, — The Defence Ministry has prohibited retired Malaysian Armed Forces officers from using their ranks without the permission of the Council of the Armed Forces.
It is an offence for retired officers to use their ranks without permission and those who defy the rule can be prosecuted, said the Defence Ministry’s Corporate Communication Unit in a statement Friday night.
It said the reminder emanated after the ministry came across several officers, who had been discharged from the armed forces, abusing their ranks recently.
“In practice, an officer, who had been discharged from the armed forces for misconduct and disciplinary problems, is prohibited from using his rank.
“In other words, the head of the service will not consider applications from officers who had been discharged from using their ranks, due to misconduct,” said the statement.
The statement said the use of ranks by retired offices was spelt out in the Council of the Armed Forces Order which set out conditions which entitled a retired officer to continue to use his rank.

Mindef corporate com should issue a statement about Lahad Datu stand off (as an example) instead if they want to score free point.

I am very sure many did not apply for permission, but still use the retired last rank or on their calling card. when I see my former commanding officers out of respect introduce them by their last rank to others and I address him as Sir (if he was a good officer otherwise it’s a FO to him), or do I have to ask him whether his last rank been given approval or not, before introducing him. Nothing personal. Maybe with the media is out on this they maybe running to mindef for approval and also good for the civilian to know this. (so, officers take note when you are introduce to civilian with your last rank, only to watch out, maybe they may ask you, Is your rtd. rank approved or not, Don’t take hard is just a joke.) A rumour has surfaced that the opposition’s top brass will ditch their sure-win seats to tackle more hostile constituencies in the quest to capture Putrajaya.

But when he read the newspaper this morning, it shook him to the core, caused his palms to sweat and his fingers to tremble. He was in a dilemma, and his decision could affect both his life here on earth and his afterlife.
At this point of time, it was difficult to be a Muslim in Pekan.
To his horror, the newspaper had revealed that Tok Guru Nik Aziz would be contesting against Najib Tun Razak and that nagging voice in his head kept reminding him of the venerated Islamic leader’s warning that those who voted for Umno would land in hell.
He felt that it was wrong to brand Muslims who do not subscribe to a particular view as infidels but since he was not well-versed in the religion like Nik Aziz, he could be wrong. And that notion frightened him.
Pak Cik Kassim did not want to go to hell. He was afraid of fire.
Imagine if the PAS spiritual leader decided to challenge the caretaker prime minister in the latter’s traditional stronghold in the coming general election.
With all the skeletons said to be dangling between Najib and his wife, it would be interesting to witness Nik Aziz rummaging through their closets and pulling out bone after bone during the campaign period.
And like Pak Cik Kassim, Najib’s well-groomed palms would be perspiring as well. Perhaps a tad little more than the farmer’s.
Moving into hostile seats
During times of war, generals hole up in shelters to churn out strategies and devise ridiculous code-names for the various operations to which troops would be dispatched for a rendezvous with death.

Therefore, instead of retaining his title in the Permatang Pauh ring once again, Anwar could put on his boxing gloves for a punch-up elsewhere.
Perhaps he could travel south to Lembah Pantai to knock out heavyweight and federal minister Raja Nong Chik. The latter was considered a serious contender for the seat held by Anwar’s daughter, Nurul Izzah.
For symbolic reasons, one observer suggested Kubang Pasu, the former seat of his arch nemesis Dr Mahathir Mohamad. If Anwar was victorious there, it would be a bitter pill for the doctor to swallow.
With her charm and intellect, Nurul had managed to step out of her father’s shadow to become a brand name in her own right. The princess of Reformasi was now a queen in the hearts of all races.
Among others, she could be pitted against Umno’s Oxford edition Khairy Jamaluddin, who was rumoured to be moving from Rembau to Kepala Batas, the seat which belonged to his father-in-law.
Hadi versus Muhyiddin?
To be fair to Najib, the opposition must ensure that Muhyiddin Yassin and the Muslim voters in Pagoh suffer from sweat-stained palms and premonitions of hell as well. This could come in the form of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.
PAS number two Mohamad Sabu and the Mandarin-speaking Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin could train their guns on the likes of Hishammuddin Hussein and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi instead.
Meanwhile, the father and son team in DAP as well as Teresa Kok and other senior leaders could embark on a mission to assassinate the political careers of MCA bigwigs, including that of Chua Tee Yong.

Whereas DAP’s Professor P Ramasamy could drive up Cameron Highlands to ensure that the MIC president, who was expected to contest there, came tumbling down the hill.
Fearful of such a prospect, the rumour mills claim that G Palanivel had struck a deal with the opposition to safeguard his position.
The last tsunami had left the BN vessel battered and its mutinous crew, with the help of a former captain, forced their then captain to walk the plank. Five years later, the new captain was still struggling to steer the ship out of troubled waters, and the crew was restless once again.
Since the 13th general election was being touted as a contest which could redefine the nation’s political landscape, senior leaders in the opposition must be bold and magnanimous to make sacrifices.
With discontent brewing in Sabah and Sarawak, if their calculated gamble worked, then the next tidal wave could sink the BN vessel.
However, these calculations would be effective if the general election was free of manipulation and rigging. Otherwise, BN would triumph and the opposition would be robbed of its stars.
Some pundits would consider this far-fetched and even self-defeating. But prior to the 2008 polls, none of their crystal balls had predicted what was in store for BN either

LAHAD DATU: The standoff in Sabah between the “royal army” of the Sultanate of Sulu and Malaysian authorities is over, leaving two Malaysian police commandos and 12 Sulu gunmen dead.
The Malaysian police confirmed the death toll, adding that three others were injured.
The two fallen men were identified as Inspector Zulkifli Mamat and Corporal Sabarudin Daud from VAT69, an elite police commando unit tasked with counter-terrorism and special operations.
The injured were Corporal Mohd Tarmizi Hashim, Corporal Azman Ampong and Constable Mohamad Qaiyum’aiqal Zolkifli.

MARCH 3 — Living on a knife’s edge: that was the Sabahan reality for the last two weeks.
While Putrajaya played at diplomacy and our home minister mugged for the cameras, many
Sabahans were left angry and confused.
There are intruders on our doorstep! Why are they not being chased out?
Do not believe the rumours, Putrajaya said.
We are hoping for a peaceful resolution, Putrajaya said.
And now, good men are dead.
My mother, ever the optimist says, “Let’s hope it all turns out for the best.”
But I know that right now she is checking that the knives are where she hid them.
Sabahans are not surprised.
Just a few years back, the Population and Housing Census Report for 2010 of the Economic
Planning Unit said 27 per cent of Sabah’s population are foreigners.
Nearly a third of Sabah.
70 per cent of of Sabah’s prison population are also foreigners.
It is the reality Sabahans live with. Foreigners are everywhere, with even their own dedicated settlements.
According to Tan Sri Simon Sipaun, formerly of SUHAKAM and currently PROHAM chairman, when Kampung Ice Box in Tawau burnt down 25 years ago, 5000 people lost their homes.
Only 500 were Sabahan.
Everyone’s favourite MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin’s own constituency of Kinabatangan numbered about 85,000 as of June 2005.
Only 25,000 of his constituents were Malaysians.
To say that Sabahans have seen it coming is an understatement. Even now, there are ‘black areas’ in the state capital of Kota Kinabalu that locals will not go. Enter them at night, residents are warned, and you might not see the morning. Not even the police dare.
For years, Sabahan politicians from both Barisan Nasional and the opposition have clamoured for action. Funnily enough, illegal immigrants are one of the few things that has them on the same page.
Because this is our reality: Sabahans have been at the mercy of foreigners for years. Foreigners who have been aided and abetted by Putrajaya.
The RCI findings have proven instead that the sheep have been asking the wolves for protection.
While Filipinos are given ICs and voting rights, many true native Sabahans in rural areas do not have birth certificates or MyKads.
Of course, Sabahans are angry. Some have even taken to calling West Malaysians ‘semenanjing’ (West Malaysian dogs).
And can you blame them?
Can you blame them for being angry at Putrajaya’s failures? For its promises that once it took over the state from the opposition that things would be better? Rosy visions of development and prosperity!
Sabah is still poor. Sabah is still awash in illegals.
And now Sabahans are cowering in their homes, living out the nightmare they knew could be coming.
If only Putrajaya had listened.

Semalam Wan Azizah dan Nurul Izzah, isteri dan anak perempuan Anwar Ibrahim telah mengancam akan menyaman mana-mana pihak yang cuba mengaitkan Anwar Ibrahim dengan serangan lanun Sulu yang merupakan lanun-lanun MNLF pimpinan Nur Misuari yang digunakan oleh ‘sultan’ Sulu ke atas Sabah. Anwar Ibrahim pula, dalam ceramahnya di Seberang Perai, mengancam untuk menyaman Utusan Malaysia dan TV3 kerana menyiarkan berita tentang kaitannya dengan Nur Misuari serta lanun-lanun Sulu.
Cubaan untuk melarikan Anwar Ibrahim daripada tekanan masyarakat Malaysia berhubung pembabitan serta pendalangannya dalam serangan lanun Sulu ke atas rakyat Sabah, begitu kelam-kabut sehinggakan pecacai Pakatan Rakyat dengan SENGAJA telah melakukan pelbagai kesilapan. Mereka berharap, kesilapan tersebut akan diperdebatkan dan dipanjangkan oleh pihak saingan mereka.
Antara kesilapan terbesar yang disengajakan ialah gagal membezakan antara Jamalul Kiram III dengan Haji Murat Ebrahim, sengaja memetik kenyataan Nur Misuari yang berbohong tentang ‘janji’ Najib Abdul Razak kononnya menyediakan tempat di Sabah untuk lanun-lanun Sulu itu dan hubungan Najib Abdul Razak dengan pemimpin-pemimpin Sulu, konspirasi politik UMNO-BN.
Pecacai Pakatan cuba buat-buat lupa tentang fakta utama yang telah didedahkan oleh blog-blog pro-UMNO-BN semenjak Oktober 2012 lagi tentang pertemuan antara Anwar Ibrahim dan Nur Misuari serta Anwar Ibrahim dengan Jamalul Kiram III.
Apabila berlaku pencerobohan oleh lanun-lanun Sulu ke atas Lahad Datu, maka timbullah persoalan tentang rangka masa insiden tersebut dengan pertemuan antara Anwar Ibrahim dengan Nur Misuari dan Jamalul Kiram III. Lebih ramai orang terutama penduduk Lahad Datu mempersoalkan perkara yang paling fundamental, mengapa semua ini berlaku ketika negara ini sedang bersiap sedia untuk menghadapi Pilihanraya Umum. Malah mengapa pula ianya berlaku selepas Malaysia berjaya menjadi pengantara perjanjian damai antara Kerajaan Filipina dengan Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) pimpinan Haji Murat Ebrahim.
Fakta itu turut menarik perhatian beberapa agensi antarabangsa seperti contoh, Reuters, yang menyatakan bahawa ahli politik pakatan pembangkang Malaysia dengan Anwar Ibrahim dipercayai telah bertemu dengan Sultan Sulu tahun lepas serta menyatakan sokongan Pakatan Rakyat kepada tuntutan lanun-lanun Sulu ke atas Sabah.
Pada masa yang sama, Philippines Daily Inquirer turut mendedahkan tempat pertemuan Anwar Ibrahim dengan kedua-dua ketua lanun Sulu itu berlaku dalam bulan November tahun lepas dengan Jamalul Kiram II menuntut Sabah atau sekurang-kurangnya mendapat pampasan yang lebih besar daripada Kerajaan Malaysia.
Laporan-laporan media di Filipina pula mengaitkan laporan yang bersumberkan Perisikan Ketenteraan Filipina yang secara konsisten menyatakan tentang tiga kumpulan yang cuba mendapat keuntungan besar menerusi keinginan Jamalul Kiram III membuat tuntutan terhadap Sabah. ‘Faktor luaran’ ini menurut sumber Inquirer, merupakan satu kumpulan kecil yang melakukannya semata-mata kerana wang, kumpulan yang anti pentadbiran Aquino dan pembangkang Malaysia.
Sumber itu juga menyebut, Jamalul Kiram III dan para pengikutnya, telah melakukan perancangan rapi untuk menceroboh Lahad Ini pada penghujung Januari tahun ini. Pada Februari, sekumpulan kecil lanun-lanun Jamalul Kiram III menyusup masuk ke Lahad Datu, diikuti pula oleh Raja Muda Agbimuddin yang kemudian mendarat di Tandao, Lahad Datu.
Pasukan keselamatan Malaysia telah mengepung kumpulan Agbimuddin tetapi menggantung sebarang tindakan kekerasan sebaliknya meningkatkan pujukan agar mereka meninggalkan Lahad Datu dan menyerah dalam tiga tempoh masa. Kali keempat adalah di atas permintaan Kerajaan Filipina.
Pihak berkuasa Malaysia mengambil langkah berhati-hati dalam menangani kumpulan Agbimuddin ini kerana mereka mempunyai hubungan dengan Nur Misuari, pemimpin MNLF yang juga sangat rapat dengan Jamalul Kiram III. Laporan menyatakan Nur Misuari tidak gembira dan berdendam dengan perjanjian damai antara Kerajaan Filipina dengan MILF yang telah diusahakan oleh Malaysia dan Najib Abdul Razak.
MILF merupakan kumpulan serpihan MNLF.
Pada tahun 1990-an, Malaysia telah berjaya memeterai perjanjian damai antara MNLF yang diketuai oleh Misuari dengan Kerajaan Filipina. Atas sebab masalah peribadi Nur Misuari yang dilihat lebih tamak dan serakah, sambil cuba mengambil kesempatan daripada perjanjian damai tersebut demi kepentingan diri, Malaysia kemudiannya mengalihkan sokongan kepada MILF. Kebanyakan bantuan yang diberikan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia kepada Mindanao telah disonglap oleh Misuari untuk membeli senjata demi memperkukuhkan kedudukannya.
Dengan kata lain, Misuari sebenarnya tidak pernah berminat hendak berdamai sebaliknya otaknya ligat mencari wang untuk membeli senjata!
Nur Misuari bengang dengan Malaysia dan marahnya semakin menjadi-jadi apabila Malaysia berjaya memeteraikan perjanjian antara MILF dengan Kerajaan Filipina pada penghujung tahun lepas. Misuari hanya mencari sebab dan fasal untuk menyerang Malaysia atau lebih tepat lagi Sabah untuk melepaskan kemarahannya.
Perisikan Filipina juga mendedahkan bahawa Anwar telah bertemu Nur Misuari di Manila baru-baru ini. Selepas pertemuan tersebut, Misuari dilaporkan telah bertemu dengan Jamalul Kiram III tidak lama sebelum Lahad Datu diserang.
Hubungan rapat antara Anwar Ibrhaim dengan Misuari telah didedahkan oleh Raja Petra menerusi blognya, MALAYSIA TODAY di mana dia telah menyiarkan sebuah dokumen yang diambil dari WIKILEAK pada Mei 2007 yang membabitkan komunikasi dari Kedutaan Amerika Syarikat di Manila yang mengesahkan hubungan kuat Misuari dengan Anwar Ibrahim.
Sesuatu yang sangat pasti ialah berbanding tuntutan ‘imposter’ Sultan Sulu itu terhadap Sabah, tuntutan Kedah ke atas Pulau Pinang jauh lebih kuat dan berfakta!

‘Softly, softly’ Lahad Datu approach could backfire

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and other relevant ministers must immediately answer for the current drama in Lahad Datu.
It is totally unacceptable for the BN government to take a dilly-dally attitude following the intrusion of “armed men” from the Philippines.
The BN government’s ‘gentle approach’ would certainly backfire because it looks like a tactical strategy to scare Sabahans into voting for them in the 13th general election.
Under the Laws of Malaysia Act 37 Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971 – incorporating all amendments up to Jan 1, 2006, “unlawful possession of firearms” in contravention of the Arms Act 1960 is punishable by death penalty, imprisonment for life, or 10 to 14 years imprisonment with whipping with not less than six strokes of the rattan depending on the case.
In the Lahad Datu case, as reported in the media, hundred of armed militants (with heavy automatic weapons such M14, M16, M203, etc) have encroached into the Sabah soil.
Is this not considered a very serious violation of the Firearms Law of Malaysia?
If so, why are these militants allowed to negotiate instead of being told to immediately drop their arms and surrender when they were already being surrounded?
This is a totally lame approach by the BN government to protect the national dignity and sovereignty. It just shows BN’s complete weakness in handling a serious emergency situation of an insurgence into our land.
The action of the BN government should have been swift and decisive to demonstrate our security forces strength and power.
How can a small bunch of militants from a defunct ceremonial Sulu Sultanate bully our security forces into negotiating with them?
The Sulu Sultanate cannot even claim any part of the Philippines as their ancestral kingdom separate from the Republic of the Philippines, let alone have an army large enough to invade Sabah.
Would they be powerful enough to stage a war to enforce their claim on Sabah?
The twist of this whole episode or fiasco is leaning towards widespread rumours that the BN government’s ‘no-bloodshed strategy’ could be a tactic to counter the growing political uncertainties for BN in Sabah.
The negotiation is going on for far too long and is looking too fishy.
The patience of local villagers barred from entering the cordoned-off areas to go in and out of their homes, to carry out their daily routine and economic activities, is now running very thin.
It has also not helped that the details of the so-called ‘negotiations’ have been withheld from the public knowledge, with the mainstream media mainly controlled by the BN government ‘advised’ to downplay the issue.
With not much news on the daily development, most Sabahans and Malaysians have been forced to search the internet online news and portals, tweets and social media for updates on the intrusions, leaving many people to spin their own theories and grapevines on the issues and the government’s mishandling of the situation because not even a single shot is fired.
This present incident is in contrast to the tragic incident in September 1985 when armed men dressed in military fatigues fired randomly at the public and killed 11 people and injured several others before robbing RM200,000 from a Standard Chartered Bank branch and a Malaysia Airlines office in Lahad Datu.
A group led by DAP national adviser, Lim Kit Siang, with the DAP Sabah adviser cum KK MP Dr Hiew King Cheu and state chairperson Jimmy Wong visited Lahad Datu near the ‘stand-off’ area to personally gauge the situation and to get an update of the latest feel on the grounds.
They were very surprised to note that, according to the reporters who have been on site since the beginning of the incident and the villagers, nothing much had happened and the daily activities have been normal. So, what is the fuss all about?
If there are ‘intruders’, get them to surrender and lay down their arms. They should be arrested, put behind bars and charged under the Malaysian law with entering Malaysia with deadly weapons.
The government has spent billions of ringgit to properly equip the Malaysian army, navy, air-force and police with the weapons, armored vehicles, helicopters, fighter planes, warships and submarines to protect our country.
How is it that a few hundred militants from a neighbouring country cannot be captured, arrested, deported or chased away immediately?
Why have negotiations to be held and our government being held ransom?
It is a blatant display of a very weak and indecisive BN government.
This government action further elaborates the issue of millions of illegal immigrants who have entered Sabah and Malaysia that were later instantly given Malaysian identity cards or MyKad, allowed to vote and given the right to own native land.
There is no excuse at all and the handling style is totally unacceptable. In this instance, our government should have been very firm and authoritative.
How can the Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein say that that the “situation is under control” and that they were “dealing” with it?
The only way to silence the critics is to deal with the situation with utmost urgency and swiftly.
Otherwise, the prime minister, the deputy prime minister, the home minister and the defence minister should all step down.
In fact by now the prime minister should already have dissolved Parliament and give the people a chance to go to the polls and show their mandate on who should be the next national government at the 13th general election – BN or Pakatan.
The theory of an opportunistic tactic by BN in view of its sinking popularity in Sabah could be true.
Sabah is considered BN’s ‘fixed deposit’ but the winds of change seem to be blowing hard against BN in the ‘Land below the Wind’.
If this is true then the fixed deposit has been withdrawn or has expired. With it being withdrawn or expired, BN has to find a way to get the ‘fixed deposit’ back.
But how can BN deposit for Sabah when about one trillion ringgit had already been illegally siphoned out of Malaysia in the last 10 years according to research and advocacy organisation Global Financial Integrity?
Is this the end of the road for BN? Problem after problem is surfacing and unsolved in almost every area.
More and more bones are falling out of the closet and all the rubbish swept under the carpet is beginning to build up into a mountain.
Malaysia is becoming famous for the wrong reasons. The government’s approach to the latest ‘occupation’ is stupid and unreasonable.
The prime minister had just signed an election integrity pledge for a clean and fair election.
The BN government had been well known for corrupt and unfair practices for many decades and the royal commission of inquiry hearings has reveal the blatant truth.
How can the prime minister expect the Malaysians to believe his election integrity pledge?
In Sabah, in the past, it was “tukar baju” from Upko to Usno, Berjaya, PBS and Umno – all comrades in arms for BN. But now, it is – “tukar, ubah, ini kali -lah!” (This time, change!)

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOW PRIORITISE ON GUARANTEEING OUR TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY AND SECURITY
Any leader of any country must defend his nation’s sovereignty and the security of his people.
Failing to do so is a grave betrayal of the people’s trust in its government. Therefore, Pakatan Rakyat urges the present national leadership to do that which is required of them, to defend our land and never to compromise the safety of each and every Malaysian, and the test of those principles is ongoing in and around Sabah’s Lahad Datu and Semporna with the escalating violence brought by armed foreigners.
In Lahad Datu two of members of our security forces have lost their lives, while the latest acts in Semporna have claimed six of our men in uniform. We express our sincere condolences to these men’s families and may God bless them for they have given the highest sacrifice for a grateful nation.
Pakatan Rakyat calls on all Malaysians to show unreserved support to our security forces, both the police and military. And pray that they remain safe while defending our nation and its people from harm.
Pakatan realises the recent incidents in Sabah raise concern and fear, but we urge the public to remain calm and not to act rashly and hurt their fellow countrymen.
The coalition takes this opportunity to restate its confidence in the capacity and capability of our security forces to protect our country’s sovereignty.
We are disappointed with the weak leadership show by the federal government whose responsibility is to keep Malaysia’s security intact.
While we are convinced that national security transcends political divides and all citizens must support the security forces’ efforts, it does not abrogate the federal leadership for its lax treatment of the whole affair.
This leadership has failed to pass accurate information quickly so that the public is aware of what is happening, an error which has caused rumour-mongering to be rife.
We understand that the government is investigating the leader of opposition to over the armed intrusions in Sabah. We would like to state categorically that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is in no way involved with the escalation of violence in Sabah nor the cause of it.
The Sabah intrusion is now into its fourth week (Day 23) — fourth day of hostilities — and the federal leadership appears not to have a clear plan to overcome the violation of our sovereign territory, or to stop any further intrusions. Instead Putrajaya is irresponsibly trying to avert the eyes of the people from its own role.
It is time the federal government realises its jobs is to defend and protect Malaysia, its people and the warriors on the frontline.
Pakatan urges for an immediate meeting between the leadership of our coalition and the prime minister, home minister and defence minister, followed by a special sitting of Parliament to discuss the intrusion.
We strongly demand Putrajaya stops finger-pointing at others especially Pakatan Rakyat and never to betray the trust of the Malaysian people.

Pakatan Rakyat juga mengajak seluruh rakyat Malaysia untuk tetap teguh mendokong pasukan keselamatan, samada dari pihak polis atau tentera. Kita berdoa moga mereka kekal selamat serta bersemangat mempertahankan negara dan rakyat Malaysia dari ancaman penceroboh.
Pakatan Rakyat sedar keadaan mutakhir di Sabah sememangnya menimbulkan kebimbangan, akan tetapi kita menyeru agar orang ramai tetap bertenang dan tidak mengambil tindakan terburu-buru atau menyebarkan berita-berita fitnah yang boleh menimbulkan keresahan. Pimpinan negara juga gagal menyalurkan maklumat tepat, cepat dan telus serta memberikan penjelasan terhadap apa yang berlaku kepada umum sehingga menyebabkan khabar angin tersebar luas.
Pakatan Rakyat menggesa supaya isu ini tidak dijadikan arena tuduh-menuduh dan sewajarnya kepimpinan negara memberi tumpuan kepada isu keselamatan negara serta tidak mengalihkan pandangan rakyat dari kelemahan mereka. Sewajarnya mereka menyedari, keutamaan adalah demi mempertahankan kedaulatan negara, keselamatan rakyat dan perwira negara yang bertungkus lumus di perbatasan.
Pakatan Rakyat menuntut agar segera diadakan satu sidang khas Parlimen bagi membincangkan isu pencerobohan ini serta demi untuk mendapatkan gambaran sebenar insiden yang tercetus di Sabah. KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 — Umno Youth executive councillor Lokman Noor Adam today denied having links with self-professed Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, whose brother is leading an armed incursion into Lahad Datu, Sabah.
His denial follows the distribution of a photograph of Lokman’s business card on Twitter and Facebook, where he carries the title of “Advisor to The Crown” of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo, and the honorific “Datu Sri Panglima” usually bestowed by the Sulu royalty.

“I admit I was elected by the real Sulu sultan, Sultan Roodinod, son of Sultan Julaspi Kiram, as his advisor around the year 2005 to deal with the Malaysia government regarding their welfare,” Lokman said in a press release here.
Roodinod was recognised by the Malaysian government as the legitimate claimant to the Sulu Sultanate in 2008, for being the heir to Jamalul Kiram II who was proclaimed sultan in 1894.
Roodinod family’s claim has been challenged by rivals with allegations that Jamalul Kiram II died in 1936 without leaving any children.
The last sultan of Sulu officially recognised by the Philippine government was Mahakuttah Kiram, who died in 1986. His eldest son Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram was crowned sultan on September last year, and is one of the many claimants to the throne.
Lokman said he has not contacted Roodinod since 2007.
The panel member of the Department of Special Affairs (JASA) also claimed that he advised the sultanate voluntarily, and has never received any payment for his services.
According to Lokman, Julaspi was rescued by the Malaysian government in 1959, and lived in Sabah before the government gave him a residence in Lorong Maarof, Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur.
When Sabah joined Malaysia in 1963, Julaspi openly supported the move, leading to a front-page headline in a paper saying “Sultan Sulu Restu Sabah Sertai Malaysia (Sulu Sultan approves Sabah joining Malaysia)”, Lokman said.
After the death of Mahakuttah, the Philippine government has not formally recognised any heir, leading many claimants from rival branches to proclaim themselves as the “real” 35th sultan.
Jamalul Kiram III was the “interim sultan” between 1974 and 1981, and was elected “de facto sultan” at a meeting of the Kiram clan in November last year.
The latest claimant to the throne was Malaysian citizen and former Umno member Datu Mohd Akjan Datu Ali Muhammad, who was allegedly crowned the Sultan of Sulu early last month, taking the regal name Sultan Shariful-Hashim II.
Mohd Akjan however denied the coronation, saying the event was just a majlis doa selamat dan kesyukuran (Muslim thanksgiving ceremony).

Sabah atau dulunya dikenali sebagai North Borneo merupakan sekeping tanah yang dimiliki oleh Sultan Brunei. Ianya telah dihadiahkan kepada Sultan Sulu yang telah membantu Brunei dalam perperangan. Peringkat awal, North Borneo telah di panjakkan oleh Sultan Sulu kepada Baron Von Overback. Overback kemudiannya telah berkerjasama dengan Alferd Dent untuk menubuhkan North Borneo Company.
Malangnya, bila mereka mengenakan cukai kepala, penduduk North Borneo telah bangkit menentang. Ketika inilah tentera British telah diundang untuk melindungi mereka.
Sekitar tahun 1959, Tun Datu Mustapa telah ke Sulu untuk menyelamatkan Sultan Julaspi Kiram yang ketika itu diancam bunuh oleh kerabatnya sendiri kerana perebutan tahta. Peringkat awal, Sultan Julaspi telah menetap di Sabah, sebelum kerajaan Malaysia memberikan beliau sebuah rumah di Lorong Maaruf Bangsar. Pada tahun 1963, Sultan Julaspilah orang yang bertanggungjawab membuat kenyataan menyokong Sabah menyertai Malaysia dan ianya terbit di muka depan akhbar Malaysia dengan tajuk “Sultan Sulu Restu Sabah Sertai Malaysia”.
Ini bererti Sabah secara automatik menjadi sebahagian dari Malaysia, sebuah negara yang berdaulat dan tidak lagi boleh dituntut oleh mana-mana pihak. Malangnya, setika Sultan Julaspi berada di Malaysia, muncul beberapa orang “imposter” Kiram yang menabalkan diri mereka sebagai Sultan Sulu yang baru. Mereka inilah yang dihasut oleh pihak pembangkang untuk menceroboh Sabah.
Saya akui, saya pernah dilantik oleh Sultan Sulu yang sebenar, iaitu Sultan Roodinood, Anak kepada Sultan Julaspi Kiram sebagai Penasihat beliau sekitar tahun 2005 untuk berurusan dengan Kerajaan Malaysia berhubung kebajikan mereka. Saya juga akui pernah mencetak kad nama jawatan tersebut bagi urusan rasmi dengan Kerajaan Malaysia. Untuk pengesahan pekara ini, anda boleh merujuk kepada Menteri Luar ketika itu, Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar.
Ketika pertemuan saya dengan Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar sekitar tahun 2006 menceritakan tentang kesusahan kerabat Sultan Sulu ketika itu, Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar telah menasihatkan saya untuk menyertai UMNO semula. Inilah antara punca saya menyertai UMNO pada tahun 2007. Sejak 2006 saya memang tak pernah jumpa Sultan Roodinood Julaspi Kiram dan saya tak pernah dibayar elaun untuk tugas sukarela yang saya buat untuk beliau. Sepanjang tempoh saya mengenali beliau, beliau tinggal di Manila dan bukan di Sulu tempat Sultan Palsu yang menyerang negara kita.
Apa yang rakyat perlu tahu hari ini ialah, baik Sultan Sebenar atau Sultan Palsu, semuanya tak berduit untuk menghantar beratus orang penceroboh memasuki Sabah, membeli M16, pelancar roket dan beli bot laju dan sebagainya. Bagaimana secara tiba-tiba menjelang pilihanraya dan selepas pertemuan Anwar Ibrahim dengan Nur Misuari serta pertemuan Jefrry Kitingan dengan Raja Muda Sulu Palsu, pihak Kesultanan Sulu Palsu ini mampu membentuk sebuah pasukan tentera sedangkan dulunya mereka beli uniformpun tidak mampu.

In Johari WIndow there are 4 region.
Jjohari quadrant 1 – ‘open self/area’ or ‘free area’ or ‘public area’, or ‘arena’. Johari region 1 is also known as the ‘area of free activity’. This is the information about the person – behaviour, attitude, feelings, emotion, knowledge, experience, skills, views, etc – known by the person (‘the self’) and known by the group (‘others’).
Johari quadrant 2 – ‘blind self’ or ‘blind area’ or ‘blindspot’. Johari region 2 is what is known about a person by others in the group, but is unknown by the person him/herself.

Saiful Bukhari Azlan’s father, Azlan Mohd Lazim, said that his son was used by several unscrupulous people, including a special officer to the prime minister, to fabricate lies against the opposition leader.

KUALA LUMPUR: In a shocking move, Saiful Bukhari Azlan’s father told a group of selected media today that Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is innocent of the Sodomy II accusation.
In a hastily arranged press conference, Azlan Mohd Lazim, 60, said that Anwar was a victim of a vile political conspiracy.
“My son was used by several unscrupulous individuals, including Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak’s special officer, Khairul Annas Jusoh.
“These people masterminded the slander against Anwar, using my son,” alleged Azlan.
Last year, Anwar was acquitted by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on charges of sodomising Saiful, his former aide.
The Attorney-General’s Chambers appealed against the verdict and the Court of Appeal is scheduled to hear the case on July 22.

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 Mac — Bapa kepada Saiful Bukhari Azlan tampil ke hadapan hari ini mengakui kes liwat kedua yang melibatkan anaknya dengan Ketua Pembangkang Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim adalah sebuah “konspirasi politik jahat” untuk memburukkan nama pemimpin utama Pakatan Rakyat (PR) tersebut.
Azlan Mohd Lazim (picture), 60, dalam satu sidang media tertutup juga mendedahkan kes liwat tersebut telah dirancang rapi oleh seorang pegawai khas di Pejabat Perdana Menteri sejak awal pendedahan kes liwat kedua tersebut.
“Ini adalah konspirasi politik jahat untuk membabitkan Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim untuk kali kedua,” kata Azlan.
“Saya memohon maaf kepada Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dan keluarganya.Beliau dan keluarganya telah banyak menderita dan sengsara akibat fitnah ini,” tambah beliau.
Azlan yang ditemani oleh dua rakannya juga menolak pengakuan yang dibuatnya hari ini adalah kerana desakan ataupun tekanan mana-mana pihak, sebaliknya dilakukan dengan rela hati.
Apabila ditanya mengapa menunggu hingga hari ini baru tampil untuk membuat pengakuan, Azlan berkata ia adalah kerana selepas membuat penilaian sendiri dan menerusi maklumat yang disampaikan oleh orang terdekat, beliau mula dapat melihat kebenaran disebalik kes melibatkan anaknya tersebut.

…. Keluarga Saiful Bukhari memberitahu bahawa bapanya hilang sejak 3 minggu yang lalau selepas mengalami masalah kewangan dan masalah keluarga.
Bapa Saiful juga dikatakan pernah mengugut beberapa pemimpin Umno untuk mendapatkan wang perbelanjaan dan apabila tidak dihiraukan Azlan Mohd Lazim hilang dan tiba-tiba muncul dipentas parti keadilan Rakyat bersama Ahli Parlimen Sungai Perani Johari Abdul yang merupakan penyokong tegar Anwar Ibrahim.
Dan tidak hairanlah apabila portal Keadilan Daily hari ini melaporkan Bapa Saiful Bukhari, Azlan Mohd Lazim mengaku kes liwat kedua adalah fitnah dan konspirasi politik ke atas Ketua Umum KEADILAN, Anwar Ibrahim seperti berikut:
“Saya Azlan Mohd Lazim sesungguhnya percaya anak saya Saiful Bukhari telah dipergunakan oleh pihak-pihak tertentu yang tidak bertanggungjawab termasuk Khairil Annas Jusoh, pegawai khas kepada Perdana Menteri.
“Mereka inilah merupakan dalang kepada semua fitnah liwat yang dilakukan terhadap Anwar Ibrahim yang melibatkan anak saya,” kata Azlan pada sidang media tertutup di sebuah apartmen di tingkat 27 dekat Taman Melati, Gombak, pagi ini.
Rakyat pasti peristiwa peguamcara II Mohd Yusuf yang juga dibayar oleh Anwar Ibrahim kembali lagi demi untuk memertabatkan Anwar Ibrahim sebagai Perdana Menteri.
Dalam keadaan bapa Saiful Azlan Mohd Lazim mengalami masalah Johari Bendul berjaya menangkapnya dan diberikan ‘sesuatu’ dengan hanya mengaku bahawa Liwat adalah konspirasi sahaja….selesai masalah.
Semalam Ng Lum Yong juga mendedahkan bahawa Anwar Ibrahim mengarahkan SUARAM membayar kepada pemberontak Sulu supaya membuat kekecohan demi untuk menggugatkan ketenteraman awam.
Rakyat perlu tahu siapa sebenarnya Anwar Ibrahim dan rakyat meminta jika benar itu adalah konspirasi Azlan Mohd Lazim dicabar bersumpah sambil menjunjung Al-Quran sepertimana yang anaknya Saiful Azlan lakukan.
Demi duit apa pun boleh jadi sanggup gadaikan maruah keluarga sendiri.
Saiful Bukhari ketika dihubungi mengatakan bahawa bapanya Azlan Mohd lazim telah dipergunakan oleh kuncu-kuncu Anwar Ibrahim yang sentiasa berkeliaran. Azlan mengaku bahawa bapanya sebelum ini bergaduh dengan keluarga sehingga keluar dari mulut Azlan, aku akan musnahkan “UMNO dan kau sekali” dan beliau terus keluar.
Saiful Bukhari akan memberi tindakbalas dalam masa terdekat.
